Our Auditing Framework
What our anonymous field team physically assesses.
1. Plinth & Architecture (25%)
Is the location structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing? We look for unique elements: untouched heritage courtyards, breathtaking rooftop lake views, cohesive interior design, and immaculate cleanliness standards that elevate the spatial experience.
2. Plating & Culinary Integrity (35%)
Beyond just taste, we evaluate the presentation. Does the food look "Reels-ready"? Are ingredients fresh? Is the menu cohesive, or is it trying to do too much? We favor specialized, high-quality execution over massive, generic menus.
3. Vibe, Acoustics & Ambience (25%)
The "Main Character Energy" score. We analyze the sensory environment: is the lighting warm and flattering or harsh? Is the background music curated for the demographic? Does the venue feel alive without being overwhelmingly chaotic?
4. Community Longevity (15%)
Can the venue maintain these standards over months, not just on opening night? We monitor consistency, local community retention, and organic word-of-mouth before granting long-term ledger status.
How the Process Works
We keep things simple, fair, and honest.
1. Getting Started (The Evaluation Fee)
To have our team visit your venue, there’s a one-time Evaluation Fee. This ranges from ₹2,000 to ₹10,000, depending on the size of your business. This fee covers the cost of our team's time to conduct a professional, fair, and thorough review.
2. The Visit
Our auditors visit as regular customers. We look at everything—the decor, how your food is presented, and how you treat your guests. We also check your online reputation (Google and Instagram) to see how your customers feel about you. We want to see the real experience you provide.
3. Keeping Your Spot
Earning a spot on RealBesta is an achievement, but it isn’t a lifetime guarantee. We expect you to keep your standards high every single day. We keep checking in through anonymous visits and by monitoring your customer feedback online.
4. Fair Warnings
If we notice things slipping, don't worry—we aren't here to catch you out. We’ll reach out with a friendly heads-up on exactly what needs to be improved. Our goal is to help you stay on the Ledger, but if standards don't improve over time, we may have to remove the listing.
